Leslie Palenius Shores obtains summary judgment in 54 party construction defect case
SWP Of Counsel, Leslie Palenius Shores, represented a framing subcontractor in an extensive multi-family construction project in Travis County, Texas. Our client’s motion for summary judgment was granted on construction defect allegations pertaining to water intrusion damages and alleged defective framing construction dismissing the Third Party Plaintiff’s claims. The Order granting the summary judgment alleviates the need to participate in extensive costly discovery and depositions. As a result of the successful motion, no settlement money will have to be paid at mediation and no attendance at the four-week trial will be needed.
