Ms. Edwards received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morgan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College. Thereafter, she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.

During law school, Ms. Edwards interned for The Honorable Kenneth Hoyt in the Southern District of Texas and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Edwards was also the recipient of a Merit Scholarship.

Prior to joining Sheehy Ware Pappas & Grubbs, Ms. Edwards worked for Houston firms where she successfully defended individuals and companies in disputes involving personal injury, premises- liability, wrongful-death, catastrophic injuries, construction defects and other general liability matters.

Ms. Edwards’ areas of concentration include, premises-liability, OSHA litigation and commercial litigation.
