David A. Wright

Mr. Wright specializes in construction litigation, commercial litigation, insurance law and litigation, personal injury law and professional liability. In his nearly 40 years of practicing law, he has gained substantial experience and has tried cases to a jury in all these areas ranging from construction defect litigation, product liability, medical malpractice, consumer litigation and first party insurance litigation. Mr. Wright is Board Certified in both Personal Injury Trial Law (1987) and Civil Trial Law (1988) by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization of trial lawyers open only by invitation to those with significant jury trial experience.

Successfully represented a highway contractor in a six-week jury trial involving alleged erosion and damage to downstream property.

Successfully represented a siding manufacturer in a nine-week trial to the court involving claims of damage by a public utility that siding provided for a coal fired facility was defective.

 

Successfully represented a  general contractor in a twelve-week jury trial alleging defective construction of a water treatment plant.  This is the longest civil jury trial in Williamson County, Texas. 

Tried approximately 70 jury trials including cases involving alleged construction defects, personal injury wrongful death (resulting from automobile accidents, workplace accidents, premises liability), products liability, consumer issues including deceptive trade practice allegations, first party insurance cases and defending doctors and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation.
