Jana Taylor and Hunter Nunn obtained a summary judgment for a national cable company in Hood County, Texas. The plaintiff alleged that he fell in his home as a result of an unreasonably dangerous condition. Specifically, the plaintiff complained that the cable company controlled the install of a cable in his home which was done by a subcontractor. The subcontractor left the cable suspended in a doorway and the plaintiff alleged that he tripped and fell over the suspended cable. The Court found that there was not enough evidence to support plaintiff’s claims against the cable company and dismissed the plaintiff’s claims against it with prejudice.
