Firm Raises over $2000 for Local Animal Shelter
This holiday season Sheehy, Ware & Pappas was proud to support the Rescued Pets Movement, a local animal shelter that saves pets at risk for euthanization from over-crowded Houston shelters. By pairing with organizations all around North America, Rescued Pets Movement is able to give these pets a second chance at life with a new forever home, like Keith, pictured here with firm donations and SWP Business Development Coordinator.
For every $10 donated, an ornament featuring a pet saved by the Rescued Pets Movement was hung in our lobby. With $1000 raised the Firm matched the donations to bring our cash donations to $2000, along with several donations for the shelters from peanut butter and dog toys to ziploc bags and soap. Houston has over 1 million homeless animals – the highest population in the United States, and we are honored to help Rescued Pets Movement in their fight to find these pets their forever homes.
