Firm Partner Succeeds in Dismissal of Four OSHA Violations

This week, Firm partner Steve Grubbs was successful in dismissing all four OSHA violations levied against a national scaffolding contractor after an unfortunate horseplay incident. The citations, including those characterized as “serious”, were appealed up to the United States Office of the Solicitor General. After serving subpoenas for documents from several area businesses, and engaging in unorthodox face-to-face discussions with the Solicitor, it became apparent the citations were not valid and were dismissed. This is a fantastic result for a long-standing Firm client which would have created a disastrous blemish on their otherwise excellent contractor rating if they were to remain on their record. The client is ecstatic.
