Of Counsel

Ms. Wilkes started practicing law in 2005. She began her legal career in Beaumont, Texas defending companies and individuals in premises liability, products liability, and personal injury claims in the counties of Jefferson, Hardin and Orange. Since returning to Houston, where she was born and raised, Ms. Wilkes focuses her practice both in state and federal courts, in the context of insurance policies, general liability, UIM/UM, commercial and residential property damage, bad faith, arson, professional liability, business torts, construction (including Owner Controlled Insurance Programs), and real estate claims. Immediately prior to joining Sheehy, Ware & Pappas, Ms. Wilkes worked in-house with a local insurance company’s legal department handling aspects of general liability and 1st party claims in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

When Ms. Wilkes is not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Laurens Wilkes, also an attorney, and their four children and two rescue dogs.
