Patrick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, where he earned high academic honors. After graduation, he served as a Reading, English, and Social Studies Educator within the Channelview Independent School District. Deciding to pursue a legal career, Patrick attended the University of Houston Law Center. At UH Law, he participated in mock trial competitions and the Mediation Clinic, served as Treasurer and Secretary of the Black Law Students Association, and acted as a student representative upon the Faculty Appointments Committee.
Prior to joining Sheehy Ware Pappas & Grubbs, Patrick worked for Houston Firms where he successfully defended individuals and nationally recognized companies in insurance related disputes, first- and third-party automobile claims, construction defect claims, and other general liability matters.
Patrick’s areas of concentration include commercial litigation, construction defects, and insurance defense matters. In addition to his work in civil litigation, Patrick also provides various pro bono legal services to members of his community primarily focused upon employment and land-lord tenant disputes.
