Mariam G. Abdelmalak


Mariam represents clients in litigation, commercial disputes, and contractual matters. She focuses her practice on personal injury and products liability defense, construction litigation, and employment and intellectual property-related agreements. Mariam’s overarching priority is to help clients achieve their business goals.

Prior to joining Sheehy, Ware & Pappas, Mariam advised and defended insurers and businesses in the energy, real property, and transportation industries in connection with contracts, personal injury claims, trade secret protection, and employment matters.

Mariam joined SWP in 2020 and is a member of the Firm’s Construction Litigation, Non-Compete Agreements, Products Liability, Transportation & Trucking, and Commercial & Business practice groups.

Advising clients in contract disputes:

  • Enforcing commercial leases
  • Advising clients on liability under supply and operating agreements
  • Defending clients in breach of contract claims

Defending commercial insurers:

  • Representing emergency services providers in personal injury matters

Protecting Intellectual Property:

  • Advising clients on the enforceability of non-competition and non-solicitation covenants
  • Prosecuting and defending against trade secret misappropriation claims
