Ms. Favaloro has twenty-five years of experience in civil litigation in state and federal courts. Her practice areas include defending corporations in personal injury, commercial litigation and product liability cases. Ms. Favaloro started her career at a large national firm where she worked on the defense of breast implant and tobacco cases. She later worked on cases related to the drug, Baycol. She also has extensive experience handling transportation cases, in particular, cases filed under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA). Ms. Favaloro has defended significant personal injury cases which have included claims of brain injuries and spine injuries. Ms. Favaloro handles all aspects of her cases from initial discovery through settlement or trial. She has successfully tried cases in courts throughout Texas.
Ms. Favaloro has been an active volunteer for numerous philanthropic organizations in Houston through her membership with the National Charity League. In particular, she has spent time helping the families at Star of Hope and Bo’s Place. Additionally, she has served the Houston community through her work with the Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta. Through Tri Delta, she has worked to raise funds for children’s cancer research for both M.D. Anderson and Texas Children’s Hospital. She has also spent time volunteering to support BEAR – Be A Resource for CPS Kids.
