Mr. Cazalas is a highly successful litigator and business transactional attorney whose areas of expertise include, commercial litigation, premises liability, trucking and transportation, pipeline litigation, construction, products liability, real estate, debt collection, and oil and gas.

Mr. Cazalas focuses primarily on representing clients in business disputes arising from contract and tort matters. He also defends companies in claims involving serious injury or death and in construction defect matters.  In his over 12 years of practice, he has handled numerous high-profile cases, including commercial litigation and personal injury cases for several Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to his notable litigation work, Mr. Cazalas is highly skilled and experienced as a transactional lawyer. He has handled a wide range of matters, including forming and maintaining business entities and preparing and reviewing transactional documents, such as purchase and sale agreements, contracts, shareholder agreements, leases and corporate resolutions.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Mr. Cazalas spent several years focusing his practice in South Texas.  His South Texas roots, combined with his now state-wide practice, provides him with a keen understanding of the distinctly different legal, business, and socio-economic environments throughout the various regions of the state.  He also understands the unique goals and challenges faced by the state’s major industries, which, along with his professionalism, diligence and natural aptitude for finding solutions to legal issues, allows him to consistently produce favorable outcomes for his clients.
