Before his legal career, Mr. Peirce enjoyed an eleven-year career as a claim adjuster for one of the nation’s largest insurance companies. He entered law school and obtained his law degree in 2006. He spent the first six years of his legal career in Washington State, where he represented clients in civil litigation cases involving insurance, commercial disputes, personal injury, employment, landlord-tenant, and property disputes. He also served as an Arbitrator between insurance companies and as a Court-appointed Settlement Guardian ad Litem.

Since returning to Texas in 2013, his practice areas have included complex litigation, insurance fraud and misrepresentation, construction defects, insurance coverage disputes, first party homeowners and automobile claims, third party automobile and premises liability claims, and trade secret claims. He has tried several cases to verdict in Washington and Texas, and has argued before the Texas 14th Court of Appeals.

Mr. Peirce joined Sheehy Ware Pappas & Grubbs in 2018, and is a member of the firm’s first party insurance claims and general litigation groups.
