Jamie Guidry is licensed in Texas and Louisiana and is experienced in defending corporations in products liability, premises liability, and employment discrimination cases. She has successfully defended against products liability claims for a variety of clients, including worldwide aerial lift manufacturer, a former Texas talc supplier, and an international cosmetics manufacturer. She is also experienced in defending against premises liability claims for clients in the retail, hospitality, and amusement industries. She has provided employment law consulting to multiple companies and has achieved dismissal of employment discrimination claims in federal court.
Ms. Guidry earned her law degree and master’s degree in business administration concurrently and graduated cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013. She also completed internships with the Texas First Court of Appeals; the 237th Judicial District Court of Lubbock County, Texas; Texas Tech University’s General Counsel’s Office; and a Houston defense litigation firm. Ms. Guidry graduated from Harding University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and studied abroad for a semester in London, England.
Jamie has been involved in a variety of community activities, including serving as a board member for Odessa Day Nursery and as a volunteer judge for Ector County’s Teen Court Program. Jamie currently volunteers in the youth program of her church and participates in the annual Houston Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
