Sheehy, Ware & Pappas proudly announces the opening of its San Antonio office to service its clients in San Antonio and South Texas

10.29.2019

Sheehy, Ware & Pappas, a Texas-based law firm with offices in Houston, Dallas and Galveston, is proud to announce the opening of its new office in San Antonio. Anchored by two prominent South Texas attorneys – Karina Cantu and Nancy Norman.  SWP’s new office will provide both litigation and business transaction services to clients throughout the state and beyond.

Firm Shareholder George Pappas stressed the importance of providing first-rate legal representation to clients across every region of the state:

We like to say that we are a Texas First Law Firm and we mean it. By bringing two stellar practitioners like Karina and Nancy aboard, we have significantly expanded the scope of what we can offer to existing and prospective clients in the San Antonio metro area and throughout South Texas. Our clients throughout the United States and overseas now have very capable ‘boots on the ground’ to handle emergency response, litigate personal injury, construction and commercial disputes, counsel clients on business transactions, both simple and complex throughout Texas.

Cantu will serve as Of Counsel and Managing Attorney in San Antonio, and focuses her practice on complex business, personal injury and construction litigation, including all stages of pretrial and trial work. She has extensive experience representing companies and individuals in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, as well as personal injury and property claims involving automobiles, commercial trucks and construction sites.

During my legal career, I’ve represented clients in both large law firms and my own boutique firm. I look forward to leveraging the broad array of resources and expertise available at Sheehy Ware & Pappas to provide my clients – both present and future – with a one-stop-shop for litigation, corporate and compliance services.

Cantu is also actively involved in the San Antonio community, including a seven-year term on the San Antonio Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners, and various volunteer positions such as the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association.

Norman will also serve as Of Counsel at the Firm, in addition to maintaining her own business law practice. Her practice centers on business transactions, financing transactions and corporate mergers and acquisitions. In her work for clients, Norman draws on her extensive experience working as an attorney on Wall Street and in Texas. She has a long list of corporate clients – both large and small – representing some of the most important industries in San Antonio.

Karina and I have had great success working together in our small woman-owned law firm, but the opportunity to partner with Sheehy Ware was too good to pass up. My clients will benefit greatly from the range of services and practices available at SWP, and I look forward to bringing my experience to the Firm’s current clients and their complex deals.
