Joseph A. Garnett Inducted into the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel

Tampa, Florida — On July 30, 2010, Houston attorney, Joseph A. Garnett, was inducted into the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. Mr. Garnett is a shareholder with the law firm of Pappas Grubbs Price, P.C. which has offices in Houston and Galveston, Texas. He specializes in the trial of civil cases involving commercial disputes, construction defects, product liability, personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has tried cases throughout the state of Texas. He is active in the State Bar of Texas and previously served on State Bar committees to develop juror submissions for civil trials and coordinate legal aid to the homeless. He has published and lectured in the areas of e-discovery, trial strategy and worker’s compensation law.

The Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel is an international organization founded in 1936 to further the principles of knowledge, justice and fellowship. The federation has approximately 1,400 members from the United States, Puerto Rico, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Its members include experienced attorneys in private practice who specialize in the defense of civil litigation, corporate counsel, risk managers and insurance claims executives.
