Ms. Murphy specializes in medical malpractice litigation representing physicians, hospitals and nurses throughout the State of Texas.  In addition to the resolution of matters through pre-trial motions and alternative dispute resolution, Ms. Murphy has successfully represented clients at trial and on appeal.

Trial Experience:
  • Assisted in the successful defense of two emergency medicine physicians in a medical malpractice case alleging failure to diagnose pseudotumor cerebri.
  • Assisted in the successful defense of an emergency medicine physician in a medical malpractice case alleging failure to verify tube placement in an overdose patient.
  • Assisted in the successful defense of an emergency medicine physician in a medical malpractice death case alleging failure to diagnose thoracic aortic dissection.
  • Assisted in the successful defense of a general surgeon in a medical malpractice death case alleging failure to diagnose a retained foreign body.
  • Assisted in the successful defense of a general surgeon in a medical malpractice death case alleging failure to properly perform a colon resection.
