Mr. Wagner is a trial lawyer with substantial experience in toxic tort, product liability, premises liability and general personal injury claims. Mr. Wagner has represented clients in these fields, with both first and second chair trial experience.
Mr. Wagner joined the firm in 2003 after working ten years at firms specializing in insurance defense litigation. He also served two years as the briefing clerk of the 295th Judicial District Court for the Honorable Dan Downey. He has tried cases in both Texas State District Courts and Federal District Courts.

Defended shopping malls and multi-tenant property owners in serious injury cases involving breaches of security.

Represented chemical and refinery owners in third-party accident claims involving personal injury and death.

Represented multiple companies involved in transportation related accidents with company vehicles and specialty hauling companies.

Obtained a defense verdict for a premises owner sued for alleged assault by security upon visitor who unlawfully obtained entry to premises.

Obtained verdict for premises owner, resulting in award smaller than settlement credits, for claim of third-party electrical contractor employee, injured when plant personnel activated stirrer inside storage tank.
Personal Injury/Products Liability Trial Law:

Obtained a defense verdict for beer manufacturer for alleged contamination of products consumed by partygoers.

Represented various drilling contractors in personal injury suits by third party trucking company employees for injuries sustained while delivering equipment to drilling site.

Represented welding inspection company involved in dryer explosion at fertilizer plant, and negotiated confidential settlement of multiple death and injury claims arising from accident.

Represented engineering firms for alleged faulty system designs, resulting in property damage during electrical interruption.

Represented horizontal drilling contractors in property damage claims arising out of alleged negligent drilling for cables and pipelines.

Represented product manufacturers for alleged negligent design and manufacturing of various oilfield related pumps, valves, and pipeline equipment.
Community Service:

Mr. Wagner has been active in the community with personal involvement in the Greater Houston Partnership, Texas Triumph Register, Houston Bar Association Habitat for Humanity, and the Texas Exes. He has served as a Faculty Member of the Texas College Trial Advocacy, in their Civil Trial Advocacy Course. He has also been involved in local judicial races in Harris County, Texas.
