Biography:

Mr. Wilson is a member of the firm's product liability, personal injury, toxic tort and environmental litigation sections.  He represents product manufacturers, premise owners and construction companies in claims involving personal injury and death.  Mr. Wilson also has extensive experience in representing and defending physicians, dentists and nursing home facilities in medical and dental malpractice and negligence claims.  He has first and second chair trial experience in cases involving personal injury and death claims.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Wilson practiced as a Registered Respiratory Therapist working in medical, surgical, cardiac and neonatal intensive care units in three major medical centers.  He was a lead transport therapist and was involved in the ground and air transports of critically ill patients from outlying hospitals to tertiary care units.  Mr. Wilson has been able to capitalize on his medical background in defending many types of cases including serious personal injury and death claims.

Example Cases:

Toxic Tort, Construction and Environmental:

• Successfully defended a road construction company in a jury trial involving a fiery, multi-vehicle accident and multiple fatalities that occurred within a construction project wherein the jury's verdict resulted in his client obtaining a take-nothing judgment.  Other Defendants had paid millions of dollars to settle the claims of the various Plaintiffs and the estates of the decedents. 
  
• In successfully representing a product manufacturer in toxic tort litigation, Mr. Wilson organized and lead a defense group of over fifty Defendants in obtaining the dismissal of over 200 claims against his client, either via the granting of motions for summary judgment (no causation) or via non-suits, in four different state district courts.
  
• Extensive experience in representing and successfully defending a manufacturer of protective clothing typically used in refinery and foundry environments in cases involving serious personal injuries and death.
  
• Extensive experience in representing and successfully defending a manufacturer of industrial products in cases involving serious personal injuries and death and allegedly the result of the defective design/manufacturing of the products
  
• Substantial experience in representing and successfully defending premises owners and construction companies in cases involving serious personal injury and death claims.

Medical/Dental Malpractice:

• Successfully represented and defended physicians, dentists and nursing home facilities in many cases involving alleged malpractice, negligence and gross negligence claims resulting in personal injury and death.
